Carly Palmer
Year 3 Teacher, Music and MFL
Ever since a young age, music has played a huge part in Carly's life. Her mother took her to music classes when she was a toddler and she would always relish at the chance to bang the drum along to Postman Pat. Her primary school definitely encouraged her love of music and she was quickly asked to join the recorder club and to audition to play the violin. This is where her passion for music really began. Carly quickly progressed through her musical grades and joined the County Orchestras. She has been lucky to have toured around the world, playing in many amazing concert halls such as the Royal Albert Hall. She even headlined live on stage with Kanye West in front of thousands of people! After leaving Birmingham Conservatoire, Carly began teaching for the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Service (Trust) where she has since fostered a flourishing career in music education as a Violin teacher. St Peter’s School has allowed her to embrace her passion for both music and foreign languages and she thoroughly enjoys multiple roles within the school.
