Bursaries
St Peter’s School may offer eligible parents or guardians financial support in the form of a discretionary bursary award system. This is available to St Peter's School only and does not include Preschool places.
We are only able to consider applications from parents or guardians who have registered their child for entry and paid the registration fee.
If you feel you may need financial assistance at any point during your child's/children's education at St Peter’s School you can request a bursary application form from the School Bursar.
When you apply for a bursary, we will ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire which will include declarations and proof of your income, savings and assets/investments and any other relevant information that we should consider. Full documentary supporting evidence will be required to accompany the application. We will then assess your case. This will include the right to seek further documentary evidence and make any further enquiries that we deem necessary.
All bursary applications are considered by the School Governors in confidence once you have completed the application form and provided the necessary supporting paperwork. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.
Bursary assistance is limited, and awards can be made only if it is financially viable for the School. An award is treated with the strictest of confidence, and parents are expected to respect this. Assistance is awarded for a period of one academic year only. If an award is granted and accepted, you inherently agree to repeat this application and assessment process annually, and we reserve the right to vary the level of our support upwards or downwards if your circumstances change.
