Founded in 1946, St Peter’s has established a reputation as a warm and friendly school for boys and girls with a strong family atmosphere. Focused on inclusive, high-quality learning, St Peter’s boasts small class sizes in a beautiful, historic setting. We are proud of our values-led approach with an emphasis on community. We seek to educate the whole child and value our vibrant and rich curriculum - the arts, music, and sport. Academic rigour is important, but so is creativity, children are encouraged to become life-long learners well prepared for secondary school.

Modern teaching facilities are complemented by the traditional Victorian building at the heart of our stunning grounds which was the former family home of local philanthropist and businessman William Timpson. Children here are empowered to take responsibility for the world around them. Our caring team of staff provides a calming, welcoming family environment where every child belongs. We care about social responsibility and we are proud of our gold standard Woodland Trust School status.

We welcome pupils from local catchment areas including Corby, Market Harborough, Oundle, Rockingham and Wellingborough.
