Year 6 Prepares for Next Chapter with Visit to Hope UK!
An Engaging Day at Hope UK’s Headquarters with Police, Paramedics, and Local Organisations Providing Essential Life Skills for Transition to Secondary School.
Our Year 6 students took a significant step in their transition to secondary school with an insightful visit to the national headquarters of Hope UK in Kettering. The day was enriched by the participation of local police, paramedics, and other community organisations, all coming together to equip the students with essential life skills. The sessions covered vital topics such as first aid, staying safe, and handling peer pressure, offering practical advice and support. This informative day not only prepared our pupils for the challenges ahead but also strengthened their connection with important community groups, ensuring they feel confident and supported as they leave primary school.
