Welcome to the Parent Teachers And Friends Association Page
The PTAFA are a group of parents, teachers and friends who meet twice a term to plan events to help raise funds for our school.
In its time the PTAFA has raised thousands of pounds which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the School’s facilities in general.
But our PTAFA is about so much more than just fundraising. We aim to organise social events to bring our school community together as a whole. Many of the events we hold are now firmly established in the school calendar and are hugely popular. Among these are our Harvest Supper, our Ghost Hunt and our Christmas Fayre. However, we are always keen to hear new ideas for future events!
All parents and members of the school community can get involved in the PTAFA if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available. All parents are automatically members of the PTAFA when their children join St Peter’s School.
If you think that you would like to be involved then please do come along to one of our meetings. You can always be assured of a very warm welcome.
PTAFA AGM Pt 1: Election of Officers
Tues 12th July 7:00pm
The PTAFA work hard to develop events for our pupils and their families. They raise funds to contribute to the School’s commitment to provide children with a high quality environment in which to learn and play. The Officers this year have been: Chairman – Mrs Sarah Brammer, Vice Chairman – Mrs Vicky Potts, Treasurer- Mrs Ruth Fray, and Secretary- Mrs Philippa Walshaw. I am sure all parents would want me to convey their thanks as well as mine to the Committee for their hard work this year.
Meetings are held half termly or as necessary, with elections for officers for each new academic year taking place in Trinity Term. We have already received approaches regarding next year’s positions. Please contact Mrs Walshaw if you would also like to also put your name forward.
