Welcome to the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) Page
St Peter's School PTA are a group of parents, teachers and friends who meet twice a term to plan events to help raise funds for our school.
In its time the PTA has raised thousands of pounds which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the School’s facilities in general.
But our PTA is about so much more than just fundraising. We aim to organise social events to bring our school community together as a whole. Many of the events we hold are now firmly established in the school calendar and are hugely popular, for example our Harvest Supper and our annual Ghost Hunt to name but a few. We are always keen to hear new ideas for future events!
All parents and members of the school community can get involved in the PTA if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available. All parents are automatically members of the PTA when their children join St Peter’s School.
If you think that you would like to be involved then please do come along to one of our meetings. Meetings are held half termly or as necessary, with elections for officers for each new academic year taking place in Trinity Term.
Please contact Mrs Walshaw if you would also like to also put your name forward. You can always be assured of a very warm welcome.
Look out for information and details of the next meeting on the PTA Notice Boards around school, or check with the School Office.
